Stunning Painted Satinwood Sutherland Table

1900 - 1920
Description

We have here the best possible example of late 19th century victorian craftmanship in the form of an oval satinwood sutherland table painted in the Angelica Kaufman style.

This delicate yet very sturdy table has a cherub scene painted on the top central panel as well as a floral painted outer border , the tapered legs are further floral decorated with swags and bows with each end of the table being cut out with swags leading to a painted central cartouche of a pretty female of the period.

The legs are joined by a sturdy undertier which has also been decorated with a centrally painted cherub scene.

I will let the photos speak for themselves , the condition is superb , it is the best avilable of its type !!

It is untouched and ready for immediate home use .
