An Interesting 19thc Hall or Centre Table

Description

An unusual and interesting hall or centre table which was formerly a globe stand. The globe now missing (21 inch) has been replaced by a piece of circular toughened glass to convert it to an attractive table. The glass top enables the globe bezel to be seen which is painted with detailed compass meaurements , calendar and the astrological signs.The main carcass is mahogany with fine fluted legs terminating in casters.

It measures 27 1/4 inches in diameter by 25 1/2 inches high.
