George IV Mahogany Dining Table

19th century
Description

Circa 1820, George IV mahogany dining table, with a wonderful flamed mahogany top which also has a pattern as if it was plum pudding mahogany. There are 4 original leaves which are held in position with brass clips and the 2 ends have a telescopic pull out section which also takes 2 of the legs away to the centre of the table to support all 4 leaves. Below the top is a flamed mahogany frieze which has beading below and a set of 12 legs which are turned at the top with tulip carving below finishing on brass tipped castors. The table has several possible combinations and the capacity to seat 18 people. The table is sturdy and is a wonderful piece of Georgian furniture in excellent condition.

Size 76cm high x 151cm wide x 407cm long (13’5”).

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
