Oak Tavern Table

A late 17th century/early 18th century oak small joined table, possibly a tavern table.

The top consists of a circular four-plank top of oak boards & has fine patination. It has a scratch moulding and the initials 'MH' are carved into this edge.

Underneath the top, the bearer has been replaced at some time & the top rails are chamfered.

There are four turned legs supported by four square stretchers.

This table is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
