It was listed by Atropos Antiques. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.
Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The proportions and fineness of structure are combined with simplicity and strength. The choice of wood shows a richness in colour and figuring that has only improved with the passing years. The fine cock beading, absolutely original brass drop handles and oak lined drawer bear witness to this. The almost invisible leather rolled hidden casters are all there and a rare and desirable detail.
I obviously like this table but I think you will too!
