The rectangular top features rounded corners and opens to create a generous square playing surface

Bought from a private house sale in London's Kensington

Raised upon a substantial turned central column with finely carved foliate and gadrooned decoration

The quadriform base terminates in elegantly shaped scrolling feet fitted with brass castors
