This exceptional, exhibition-quality set of graduating tables showcases the absolute pinnacle of late 19th-century Sheraton Revival cabinetmaking. Having just completed a meticulous, sympathetic restoration and traditional hand-polishing in our workshops, this set is presented in pristine showroom condition, displaying a deep, vibrant patination that sets it apart from standard, unrestored examples on the market. Each table top is a masterclass in timber selection, featuring a magnificent, highly figured fiddleback mahogany ground that boasts a beautiful shimmering ripple across the grain when caught by the light. The centres are set with crisp, rectangular flame mahogany insets, expertly crossbanded in rich rosewood along the edges. The borders are framed with precise ebony and boxwood line stringing, culminating in highly distinct, elegant boxwood quadrant corners. The graduated frames are supported by elegant, faux-bamboo ring-turned legs, united by sophisticated, curved bow-back stretchers that maximize structural stability while maintaining a light, graceful silhouette. The tables stack flawlessly, with each lower tier resting on out-swept slipper feet that are beautifully embellished with matching boxwood stringing lines.

Condition Report: Immaculate structural and cosmetic condition throughout. The entire set has been thoroughly checked for stability, revived, and traditionally hand-polished in our workshops to protect the wood and highlight the depth of the fiddleback figure.
