A fine English Porcelain Basket possibly by Samuel Alcock c.1830. The oval shape basket with scalloped rim, apple-green ground with raised paste gilding, the central reserve decorated with a still life scene of very finely painted flowers, and a twisted, branch-like gilded handle.

Unmarked.

Condition: Three very small hairline cracks to the rim, otherwise in good condition.
