Antique 20th century Edwardian side table in mahogany, an elegant and beautifully detailed piece with a wonderfully refined appearance. Well made and of good quality, the design has plenty of period charm while remaining versatile and practical.

Beautiful cross-banding and delicate inlaid detailing can be seen throughout, creating an attractive contrast against the rich mahogany. The piece stands on tapered legs united by a supporting stretcher, with a useful shelf to the base adding both practicality and balance to the design.

The mahogany displays gorgeous grain and colour, with warm tones complementing the decorative inlay beautifully. Its graceful proportions and attention to detail make it a very desirable example of Edwardian furniture.

Authentic Edwardian furniture displays fine, uniform hand-planing marks on non-visible surfaces and natural oxidisation underneath the top and along the frame. Look for original wood joints, precise boxwood inlay, and light wear patterns consistent with early twentieth-century age.
