Superb Mahogany Stretcher Table - With Castors - c1850
This mahogany Hall Table is a lovely size, very versatile and presented in exceptional condition.
The table has first class colour and patina.
There is storage below the table surface.
The supporting base displays wonderfully turned and carved components. The fabulously carved legs are united at each end of the table with an exceptional and elegant stretcher. The effect is classic English Victorian styling with perfect proportions. The piece rides upon original white china castors.
The table would look wonderful in a hallway, window alcove or as a sofa table.
Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition. The table is well constructed and very solid. The mahogany displays very well. It is rare to find an example in this order.
