Antique Royal Dux Bohemia Figure Model 1009 circa 1910

A fine Royal Dux Bohemia porcelain figure depicting a young peasant carrying a large wicker basket in one hand and a second basket over his shoulder. Standing upon a naturalistic rustic base, the figure is dressed in a green glazed costume with gilt highlights and finely hand-painted facial features.

The underside bears the applied pink Royal Dux triangle mark, impressed model number 1009, and painted decorator's marks, consistent with manufacture during the early twentieth century.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Light age-related wear and minor rubbing to the gilding, consistent with age. No chips or cracks
