Regency Burr Oak Tripod Occasional Table / Lamp Table

Unusual Regency burr oak tripod occasional table / lamp table; neat proportions; attributed to Gillows; the rectangular top with rounded corners in striking burr oak having a thumbnail moulded edge above a shallow inset frieze. Raised on a turned oak tapering column with a gadrooned vase, standing on well drawn cabriole legs, terminating in carved scrolled toes. Lovely honey colour and patina.
 
English circa 1825
 
Very good condition. There is a slight historic warp to the top, but does not detract the overall appearance.
