A fine early Victorian mahogany breakfast table, dating from the mid-19th century, with an elegant circular tilt-top design and beautifully figured mahogany surface.

The table features a superb one-piece circular top displaying rich colour, attractive grain, and the warm mellow tones associated with quality Victorian mahogany. The generous 122cm (48 inch) diameter makes this a highly practical size for dining, breakfasting, or use as a statement centre table.

The top is supported on a well-proportioned turned column with a shaped tripod base, featuring elegant swept supports and carved scroll detailing to the feet. The refined simplicity of the design reflects the restrained elegance of the early Victorian period.

A versatile and decorative antique table, equally suited to a traditional dining room, country house interior, period property, or as an occasional centre table.

Condition:
