Gilt and Gesso has dated this piece to the 1800s.
A superbly stylish and original English antique cricket table, circa 1800.
These highly desirable, regional-vernacular country furniture tables vary according to regions, whilst following simple design traditions.

This example has an oak plank top, supported by a triform base construction and tripod legs, peg jointed, a traditional construction for these tables.
Dimensions
Diameter 77cm
Height 69cm
An elegant example with a handsome timeworn appearance whilst structurally excellent and straight, it stands well with no wobbles and a flat table top.

The table is currently in our workshop to tighten any loose joints and a gentle, even wax, minimal conservation to retain it’s age and elegant appearance.
