An elegant French walnut and gilt centre or writing table, of serpentine form, the shaped top finely inlaid with a floral marquetry medallion within an ebonised border. The frieze with a single drawer and richly cast gilt-metal mounts, raised on bold cabriole legs with ornate gilt embellishments. A highly decorative statement piece, showcasing excellent figuring to the walnut veneers and fine Rococo-inspired craftsmanship.
