Prometheus Antiques has dated these Dresden Porcelain Plaques to the 1900s.
The scenes both show classical figures and animals and are Neoclassical in tone but also have the sinuous curves of the Art Nouveau. The pair both have an impressed Dresden mark with a shield motif, an unusual mark that I have been unable to definitively identify. The plaques are in excellent original condition and also retain the original green colour frames. A rare, fine and decorative pair of plaques. C.1900.
Overall sizes in inches each including frames: 16 ½ by 11 ½
