Dates to around 1830 and is in excellent condition, the solid mahogany is a wonderful original colour and this antique writing table has an original faux leather inset top with two drawers beneath, both have the original wooden knob handles. This antique mahogany writing desk stands on octagonal, tapering and turned legs that finish on the original large quality brass cup castors. A fine example of an English early 19th century antique writing table, designed to be able to free stand within a room as well as up against a wall. In superb, strong and original condition.
