Description

A rare and wonderfully delicate 13th century Kashan bowl. The earthenware footed bowl is decorated to the centre with a horseback rider to the centre and various internal floral decoration. Externally a copper lustre glaze has been applied.

The piece is rare and has undergone museum quality repair and bears. Collection reference number to the base. Restoration is shown in the pictures
