A superb 18th-century oak refectory table of generous proportions, offered in excellent untouched antique condition. The thick plank top, complete with traditional breadboard ends, displays wonderful graining, a rich patina, and the honest age-related marks that only centuries of use and care can create. Beneath the shaped frieze sit four boldly turned legs with leaf-like carving and vertical fluting, all united by a substantial stretcher that provides strength and stability.
