Antique Doulton Lambeth Match Striker

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of an antique match holder. The holder itself is ceramic with a rough finish around the top to enable striking and the base is decorated in a traditional Art Nouveau style design in Doulton's trademark blues and browns.

It is stamped on the base 'Lambeth' and '5294'.

It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and no major damages.

Approximate Measurements :

Height : 3" / 8cm

Diameter : 4” / 10cm
