Mid 19thC Drop Leaf Pembroke or Breakfast Table, C1850, Extending to 120cm.
A fine quality English drop leaf Pembroke or breakfast-dining table circa 1850 with a single frieze drawer and turned legs terminating at original brass castors.
A versatile and drop leaf, folding table, often called Pembroke tables whilst this is a larger model and more ideally for breakfast, dining or writing table etc.., which opens to extend to 120cm.
Presented in mostly excellent structural and cosmetic condition, the table sits well and straight with all parts operating correctly, castors, drawer and folding mechanism etc.., the mahogany is solid with no awkward twists or bends. Please note the central top section has some grazing to the surface from timeworn use, just back from our workshop and otherwise perfect.
