A superb Victorian mahogany centre table, displaying exceptional craftsmanship and elegance. The plum-pudding mahogany top is finished with thumb-moulded edging and a deep frieze, incorporating concealed drawers to both the front and back, each constructed with fine dovetail joints. The table stands on a robust, beautifully carved column which flows into four gracefully swept legs, embellished with C-scroll motifs and delicate floral carving, all resting on their original casters for ease of movement and added authenticity.
