Description

A Regency mahogany fold-over tea table, showing late Georgian influence in its refined proportions and restrained detailing. The rectangular top with rounded corners folds open to rest on rear gate-legs, above a shallow frieze fitted with a single long drawer, all raised on turned and reeded legs.

An attractive piece that works well as a side table or console in a hallway or living space, with the flexibility to extend for serving or entertaining as needed. The proportions also allow for light writing use, supported by the presence of a full-width drawer showing historic ink staining.

Very good antique condition with a well-developed patina and light surface wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place.
