The table features three drawers to the front, all retaining their original brass knob handles, and a beautiful green leather writing surface. The piece is inlaid throughout with fine satinwood stringing, while the drawer fronts and desk surface are exquisitely decorated with various woods, forming intricate patterns and delicate floral designs.
The level of detail in the inlay is outstanding, with differing shades used to create depth and subtle shading, making the whole piece a true work of art. Very rare and highly desirable, this writing table stands on elegant tapered legs fitted with brass casters.
