Vienna porcelain tankard, c. 1900. The tankard finely hand painted with a continuous scene of partially clad Mythological figures in a romanticised landscape, within gilt stylised scrollwork, on a cobalt blue ground. Having a gilt strap handle.
The cover similarly decorated externally, and internally with further Classical figures, and attached to the base, by a gilt metal mount, and thumb piece.
Painted Beehive and printed mark to the base.
Height – 16.5 cm, 6 1/2”.
Width (From handle) – 15cm, 5 7/8”.
Diameter – 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
