Lovely quality mid 19th.c. circular mahogany library table or drum table c.1880. 43" diameter top with the original burgundy tooled leather work surface within a crossbanded border. With four working and lockable drawers alternating with dummy drawer fronts. Solid mahogany drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and brass swan neck handles. Table top revolves with a smooth action on a crisply turned solid mahogany column. Raised on four swept and moulded legs with brass toes and castors.
