Antique Victorian Walnut Drop Leaf & Extending Dining Table Seats 8 C1880 W6429/16.5

Description

Lovely antique victorian walnut drop leaf dining table that when extended seats eight people. Dating from aorund 1880 it has a moulded edge to the top and stands on gillows style fluted legs on wooden castors. The table extends by means of a gate leg to each end which then pulls out from the centre allowing for one or both leaves to be inserted.

It is rare to find an extending drop leaf dining table and one of this quality.

Measures: 29.5" high X 27" deep (closed) X 53" (open)

With both leaves inserted it measures 44" X 80"

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality walnut oozing the charm and character of the period.
