Wemyss Ware is a line of Scottish art pottery first produced in 1883 at the Fife Pottery in Kirkcaldy. The Jazzy style emerged in the 1920s during the Art Deco era, characterized by vibrant, abstract, multi-coloured background brushwork beneath traditional floral motifs such as cabbage roses.

These items were crafted from soft earthenware clay, shaped in moulds or turned, and hand-painted by decorators using ceramic pigments before being finished with a clear lead glaze and kiln-fired.
