Description

Here we have a truly outstanding and rare English George II Oak refectory dining table c1740. As you can see the table has exceptional colour and patina. We have taken some of the photos outside just to show how beautiful and rich the colour is. There is a thick three plank top which lifts off for ease of moving. The top has lovely raised peg construction and is the most delicious colour. The base as you would expect is of pegged mortice and tenon construction with squared and tapered legs. There is a shallow frieze with a decorative moulding to the bottom. The table sits proudly and there is plenty of leg room. The table will comfortably seat 8 and is in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 200 cm long 80 cm deep 77 cm high.
