19th Century English Regency Mahogany Drum Table with Leather Inset Top

This attractive table is supported on four quality reeded legs. The frieze of the table contains four working drawers and four dummy drawer fronts. The drawers all have gilt brass handles with lion mask detailing to the centre and this lion theme is also reflected in the paw form castor caps at the end of each leg.

The table has a turned gun barrel-type stem and the mahogany is of excellent quality and good colour and patination. The top has a black inset leather.

A substantial quality, nicely proportioned drum table.
