Quality Antique Mahogany Dining Table by Gillows of Lancaster

This stunning Quality Antique Mahogany Dining Table is by the renowned Gillows of Lancaster and dates from circa 1870. This Small antique dining table can be extended with the central removable leaf making it very versatile. The top is beautifully figured with a moulded edge above a frieze and stands on four beautifully turned legs with brass cup castors. This antique dining room table has unusual corner brackets and Brass D clips to keep the central leaf securely in place. It has aged to a warm Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
