Constructed using finely figured Circassian walnut, dressed with gilt bronze mounts; rising from slender tulipwood banded cabriole legs shod with bronze sabots and espagnolettes; the shaped frieze housing a singler drawer, and two velvet-lined pull out slides on the sides. The serpentine top finely bookmatched and inlaid with exceptional floral marquetry of various specimen woods. Stamped ''Gillow.''
