We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Cricket tables originated in Britain during the 17th and 18th centuries, traditionally used in homes and public houses. Their distinctive three-legged design provided stability on uneven flagstone floors.

These tables are typically constructed from native hardwoods such as oak, elm, or pine. They feature pegged tenon joints, a circular plank top, and three splayed legs often united by a triangular undertier.

Authenticity is indicated by period construction techniques like hand-cut joints, timber shrinkage, authentic patination, and the absence of modern machine tool marks.

Its compact size and organic form make it versatile for use as a bedside table, next to a modern sofa, or as an accent piece in a hallway, offering warmth and historical contrast.

Maintain the wood by avoiding direct sunlight and excessive heat fluctuations. Periodically nourish the surface with traditional beeswax to preserve the natural finish.
