For sale, this unusual Chinese Turquoise glazed study of a seated Ape dating to the early part of the 20th century. Very well defined and modelled with a thoughtful facial expression. Possibly a take on the human contemplation expression. The model is in excellent original and undamaged condition. Signed to the base, the base with a filled firing crack. Size 20cm high by 16.5cm deep. A most unusual model and quite tactile. Price £495.00 inclusive of shipping to within the UK.
