Edwardian Envelope Card Table Circa 1900. Marquetry Games Table

Description

A very versatile table, most useful as a side table, opening to a baize lined interior for games or for serving afternoon tea. The top swivels and opens to a playing surface with recessed counter wells over an inlaid drawer. The cabriole legs with the original porcelain casters joined by an inlaid platform stretcher. This table is in amazingly good condition having survived over 100 years without any losses or restoration. It would certainly not only be useful but would add interest to the decor of a fine home.
