Antique Two Drawer Writing Table

19th century
Description

A small two drawer writing table or side table dating from the late 19th Century. The top has an inset dark rexine writing surface and a pretty grained wood border with a lovely patina. The table stands on square tapering stained pine legs and it has two drawers, each with their original turned knobs.

The table is in good condition and the writing surface is in good order. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are some signs of age and use, some light knocks and surface marks and minor chips but no major damages and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
