Description:?This is a good quality antique English Georgian side table, constructed from solid elm and oak, with a two-plank top, circa 1780, boasting a lovely colour, in excellent original condition.  The table boasts a twin-plank solid elm top, featuring curved corners all around, with a straight oak frieze below, supported on four block tapered legs.  As the Georgian table is designed with curved corners all round, it could be used a centre table in the middle of a room.  This country / estate table is constructed in the traditional manner with mortice and tenon pegged joints.  As Georgian side table boasts the original patination, it has a fantastic mellow colour; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

 

Ideal for use a side table in the living room or an occasional table in the hallway, or even as a small centre table in the middle of the room.  This 18th century table is solid in joint and ready to use.  This country table would grace either a traditional or contemporary setting in any home or office and it’s a great investment as it’s extremely functional

 

Condition Report:?This is a good quality antique English Georgian side table, constructed from solid elm and oak, with a two-plank top, circa 1780, boasting a lovely colour, in excellent original condition.  Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos).  The frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period.  As this Georgian country table boasts the original patination, it has a fantastic depth of colour.  This period table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
