Marylebone Antiques has dated this Victorian Mahogany Writing Table to the 1850s.
It is of superb quality and is a useful size.
The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The three drawers have turned mahogany handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.
We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there. There is one small nick to the leather which has been repaired and polished over, barely noticeable but seen in the close up images.
