Antique Britannia Cast Iron Pub Table

£295    $375    €356
An original Victorian ''Britannia'' pub table with a good quality cast iron base and mahogany top. Dating from the late 19th Century the base has three legs cast into the figure of Britannia with ornate lions paw feet and a pierced shelf. It is well made and is an extremely heavy piece.

It is in good condition for its age. There are normal signs of age and use, a few light knocks, surface marks and a slight shrinkage split in the wooden top but nothing detrimental. There has been an old repair to one leg but it is strong and sturdy. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
