A Scottish George III Mahogany 'Spider Leg' Side Table, Edinburgh C.1760

Description

Elegant and useful. Similar tables were supplied by Alexander Peter to the Marquess of Bute for Dumfries House.

Structurally sound. Some wear to the top as per images. At some point there has been a cross-stretcher or undertier (not necessarily original), which is no longer present, see image showing the small holes on each internal corner.

Reliable transport throughout the UK can be easily arranged at cost price.
