An English Oak Refectory Table, dating back the late Elizabethan period . circa 1600, a rare and stunning example . The table is surprisingly original . Retaining all its original timbers . with its magnificent original two planked oak top with cleated ends, showcasing a wonderful uneven aged surface patina & superb colour. created through over four hundred years of age and use .
The base of the table is equally impressive, with a beautifully carved frieze and four boldly carved legs. The legs are joined by four oak stretchers .

A rare true set of original 17th-century dining chairs/back stools, circa 1670 . These chairs showcase a fabulous colour and patina, adding to their character and charm.
The chairs are in good usable antique condition , having stood the test of time and showing reassuring signs of age and originality. Over the course of more than 350 years, they have undergone minor repairs consistent... with age and use as to be expected .
