The base of the table is equally impressive, with a beautifully carved frieze and four boldly carved legs. The legs are joined by four oak stretchers .

A rare true set of original 17th-century dining chairs/back stools, circa 1670 . These chairs showcase a fabulous colour and patina, adding to their character and charm.

The chairs are in good usable antique condition , having stood the test of time and showing reassuring signs of age and originality. Over the course of more than 350 years, they have undergone minor repairs consistent with age and use as to be expected .
