Louis Xvi Style Brass Mounted Wine Table C.1930

Description

Very smart brass mounted Louis XVI style wine table c.1930. 23½" diameter top with an applied brass moulding and featuring segmented kingwood veneers laid to form a radiating pattern into which is inlaid a beautiful marquetry work laurel wreath border. Further marquetry work panels of cloth swags around the apron, surrounded by brass mouldings. With a single mahogany lined drawer to one side. Raised on square tapering legs, crossbanded and inlaid on all four sides with brass capitals and acanthus leaf mounts to the feet. A few minor repairs to the veneers, otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
