Neat Antique Mahogany Pembroke Table

19th century
Description

This is a neat George III period Pembroke table with a nice colour dating from around 1820. The table has two drop leaves and a small single length cock beaded drawer to one end and dummy drawer facia to the other. This is inlaid with ebony stringing, has turned mahogany handles and is raised on its original brass cups and castors.

This is in very good condition overall, a small historic repair to the inside edge of one leaf as shown in last photograph but well done and hardly noticeable. The frame is sound and the table has a good colour and patina with a nice feature being the painted (black) highlights to the turnings on the legs, giving a nice contrast.

The table measures 73 cms high 56 wide by 32 deep.
