Description

A George III period, dish top, mahogany tripod wine table, Circa 1800. A high quality table, featuring a well figured, solid mahogany dished top. A tilt mechanism. Supported by a baluster stem, raised on a tripod of cabriole legs.

An attractive and high quality example table. A couple of flaws, but very well presented and in overall good condition. Ready for use.

Dimensions:

This table measures approximately 70 cm (27.5") tall, and the top is 48.25 cm (19") by 48.75 cm (19.25").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in overall good and mostly original condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. There are a couple of repairs which are both old, of a very high quality, done sympathetically, are well polished in and not apparent. One to a small part the of the edge and another one leg. Other than these the table is original. Some minor/small marks and blemishes. Very good colour, polish and patina. The table is waxed polished, not French polished. Cleaned and waxed, and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
