Description

A George I period, mahogany drop-leaf dining table, Circa 1720. Featuring solid, high quality, well figured, mahogany top of oblong form. Constructed from 3 leaves of early, very heavy mahogany. The end leaves are supported by single gatelegs. Plain frieze, raised on turned tapering legs on off-set pad feet.

A excellent original table, unmolested, with no obvious signs of repair or damage. Cleaned, waxed and very much ready for use.

Dimensions:

This table measures approximately 70 cm (29.5") tall, 127.5 cm (50.25") wide leaves up, and 45 cm (17.75") wide leaves down, 102.5 cm (40") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Original and unmolested. No obvious signs of repair or damage. Never French polished. Only minor marks and blemishes. Cleaned, waxed and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
