Antique Georgian Cuban Mahogany Drop Leaf Gate Leg Dining Table C1780 6249/7.1

Description

Superb antique george 111 gate leg dining table and dating from around 1780. Constructed form cuban mahogany it has a rounded edge to the top above a frieze to each end and standing on tapering legs on a pad foot. Opens by means of a single gate leg action.

Measures: 28.5" high X 17" deep (closed) X 48" (open) X 45" wide seats six people comfortably.

It is in very good condition with a superb deep colour and patination to the quality cuban mahogany oozing the charm and character of the georgian period.
