Table French Restauration Coffee Table Pine

Description

Here we have a stunning French Restauration period table c 1820. The table top as you can see has the most wonderful colour patina and wear not. There are cantered corners to the top which are simple but beautifully decorative (see photo 3) The fantastic toffee colour is complimented by the original paintwork underneath. The paint work has not been faked to look old but is beautifully original and shows wonderful age. As you can see the undertier is decorative in its design with a beautiful shaped X stretcher which has been traditionaly pegged joined. The pegs are nicely raised as they should be considering the pieces age. There is a single drawer with the original knob and lovely thick hancut dovetailed joints. A fantastic country piece which is solid and sturdy ready for your home.
