Leeds Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
Each leaf and end constructed from single piece of solid mahogany. It extends by way of telescopic bearer stretchers, "Joseph Fitter, Patent" screw-winding mechanism, complete with original winding handle, and two leaves. There is a plain frieze with lower lipped edge. All raised on well proportioned cabriole legs on claw and ball feet, with hidden brass castors.

A very good table, in good condition and well presented. Restored, repolished, serviced, cleaned and waxed, ready for use.

This table measures approximately 74.5 cm (29.5") tall, 240 cm (94.5") long extended, 145 cm (57") long unextended, and 121 cm (47.5") wide.

There are minor some marks and blemishes. The table has been restored, repolished, and fully serviced. No loose joints. One quality repair to the frieze end for the winding handle. Well presented. In very good working order. Good colour, French polished with very good wax polish finish. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
