Gillows Style Mahogany Sewing Table

19th century
Description

19th century Gillows style mahogany sewing or work table in very good clean condition. Typical Gillows style turned and reeded legs with brass castors. Deep double drawer to the front with dummy drawers to the back. The upholstered under bag is in very good condition. The drawer is oak lined and the table has its original small turned knobs both front and back. The top has extending leaves both sides with a thumb moulded edge. All in good original condition. Nice mellow colour with waxed finish.

SIZE; 19" wide by 16" deep by 29" high. 34" wide with both leaves up.
