Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
There is lovely carving on the upper legs, the burr elm grain patterns and colour tones are spectacular. This is nicely finished on all sides, so can be used as a free standing item. It is a perfect size for an occasional side table or even a small writing table / desk.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
